Dr. Steiner is a neurologist specializing in headache and pain management, trained at Montefiore and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, with a medical degree from Rush and a chemistry degree from the University of Chicago. He served as Chief of Neurology at Peninsula Hospital Center (2003–2010), where he founded a NY State–designated Stroke Center and led one of NYC’s few Traumatic Brain Injury Units, and has overseen more than 30 clinical research studies; he is currently the Medical Director of Five Towns Neurology.

Bella Shalamova, FNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in surgical and clinical care. She earned her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Molloy College, and an Associate of Science in Nursing from City Junior Nursing Medical College in Samarkand. She has worked at Mount Sinai Queens since 1999 as an operating room nurse and currently serves as a Nurse Practitioner at Five Towns Neurology, with additional experience at Queens Orthopedic Associates and a women’s health clinic in Astoria. Her certifications include CNOR, RNFA, BCLS, ACLS, and Surgical Fire Safety.

Gila Henesch, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 20 years of clinical experience in neurology, cardiology, and integrative medicine. She graduated cum laude from the Touro College School of Health Sciences Physician Assistant Program in 1999 and has since treated a wide range of neurological, musculoskeletal, and psychiatric conditions. Her past roles include working at Neurology Medical Services of Long Island and Doctor’s Cardiac Rehabilitation, and she is currently serving as a Neurology Physician Assistant at Five Towns Neurology. Gila is certified by the NCCPA and is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the New York Society of Physician Assistants.
